Update, December 28th: Meridian has paid their outstanding bills. Thank you everyone for your patience. We will expedite scheduling for affected patients.
Meet Renly! She's a 2-year-old black lab from PAWS With A Cause. She's a service dog, like a guide dog or mobility assistance dog. A facility dog's job is to help make people feel safe and confident. She's finished her first two years of training and now has to learn the specifics of our office and patients.
She'll start working with patients in January. We hope our patients will look forward to their appointments and seeing their furry friend.
It takes a lot to raise and train a facility dog. Thousands of hours of volunteers' time... and $6,000 up-front and $2,500 each year after that. Caring for patients with disabilities is our passion. We'd really appreciate any help you can give!
Effective immediately, while we still will not require physician referrals, we will require that referrals come from a licensed healthcare professional. We greatly appreciate all the self-referrals, or referrals from other patients! However, in order to appropriately schedule new patients we need some background information. Thank you for understanding!
If you don't feel well please call to reschedule or switch to telemedicine.
While masks are no longer required, you are welcome to wear yours. Should you prefer, staff will wear theirs while working with you.
Where possible, we are very happy to see both new and current patients via telemedicine.
For more information about telemedicine please see the Telemedicine tab above.
Cell phones (especially Android phones) and hotspots generally do not provide sufficient bandwidth for encrypted telemedicine appointments. Computers on WiFi or Ethernet are strongly recommended.
